Tamashah Indian Restaurant

Updated: Dec 11, 2019

If you are in Crawley and in need of a good Indian meal, you have to check out Tamashah. It's an Indian buffet restaurant right near the town centre so it's the perfect place to go for something to eat after shopping or as part of a great evening out.

It's my mum and dad's new favourite place to eat so we have eaten here for lunch and dinner. The food doesn't really change from lunch to dinner but we have seen them clear and clean everything between the meals so you don't have to worry about the food going bad.

We had a lovely big family meal there one Saturday evening, I'm so glad we booked a table as it started to get quite busy a little while after we arrived. They sat us on the tables that are up by the fish tank.

There is always loads of food to choose from and if you are on a bit of a budget, they do unlimited soft drinks so you don't have to worry too much about the bill like if you were drinking alcohol.

We have tried the Tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, garlic bread, spring rolls, samosas, chicken naga, mango chutney and prawn zafrani (my favourite by the way) and it was all delicious. My cousin's children were crazy about the garlic bread, they got a whole plate just of garlic break for themselves haha.

I love that the deserts are lots of different fruits, cakes and homemade rice pudding.

The staff are always so helpful and cheerful, they are the ninjas of buffet restaurants as I sometimes don't see them take the plates away, it's like they just disappear haha.

They have a seating area upstairs as well but this is for special occasions, I've never been up there but I have seen people going up there.

One of my favourite things about the restaurant is the waiting area, there is a huge TV in under glass in the floor! So you can watch videos of cities around the world while you wait to be seated. How cool is that?!

I don't think I really need to say that I would highly recommend this restaurant but oops, I just did haha.
