Sunny's first trip to the beach
Before it gets super cold and days out become limited, we decided to take Sunny for his first trip to the beach. We didn't want to go too far or somewhere that may still get crowded so we went to Leysdown.
There wasn't much going on seeing as it's November and the tourist season is long gone but we still had fun and the car park was free seeing as it was Sunday so ..... bonus!
We took Sunny down onto the beach and he he loved it. I thought that he might not like the feel of the sand but he was fine and seemed to be on a mission to sniff and have a wee on everything that he came across.
He didn't like the look of the sea, we tried to take him down to the sea but he dug his feet into the sand. We thought that he might have been interested in it and want to check it out but he wasn't having any of it.
He got to meet a lot of other dogs on the beach that was followed by lots of excited squeaks, sniffing and jumping around.
It was mainly the archades, the fish and chip shop, a souvenir shop and the pub that was open so we headed straight for the Rose and Crown pub at the top of the main street.
Sunny got to meet some of the local's dogs, there was more squeaks and sniffing, and we got to chill out watching the world go by.
He had such an exciting day that Sunny was passed out on the back seat of the car before we had even left the car park.
We can't wait for the weather to warm up again so that we can take him to the beach again.
